Commemorative of the NYS Troopers' 100th Anniversary
Historical Significance: The PBA is proud to announce the issuance of the NYST Centennial Challenge Coin. The silver side depicts our original shield that was proudly carried by Troopers until 1962. The other side, in gold, represents the shield that we have proudly carried from that point forward.
A his-and-hers Prayer Coin for your Trooper as a spiritual symbol. Both coins feature this prayer on the back: “Lord be a shield about my Trooper today. Guide his/her hands and guard his/her heart as he/she goes to calls and walks his/her beat. Be a strong and tangible presence around him/her and him/her department. Give him/her discernment and courage and let him/her come home to me.” The New York State Shield is on the front of the coin.
Our newest challenge coin is in the shape of a K-9 paw print. It also features the silhouette of a Belgian Malinois with the thin blue line flag on one side. The other side features our NYST logo with a Stetson.
Our Belgian Malinois is a life-like stuffed animal, quick to jump into action and ready to fight crime. Featuring a 1917 replica shield with a leather strap around his neck. Cuddly soft, and easy to train!
